Decarbonization & ESG Fundamentals Workshop + Exam

Brightworks Sustainability has partnered with USGBC-CA to present a unique workshop designed specifically for small businesses. This workshop aims to educate businesses on carbon accounting and ESG reporting, allowing them to demonstrate leadership in these areas. Their experts will guide participants through the voluntary frameworks and provide them with the tools to analyze their business operations, report to clients, and make improvements that will benefit people, the planet, and profit.

This workshop will enable local businesses, including commercial, industrial, and contractors, to compete for contracts in a marketplace that is increasingly demanding in terms of emissions reporting. By raising awareness of their emissions and the need to compete in reducing them, businesses will be encouraged to reduce energy and material use over time, contributing to a more sustainable region.

This workshop will provide small businesses with the necessary information to answer these questions, perform baseline assessments, and report supply chain information to their clients and agencies.

Upon completion of this workshop and a 10-question exam, participants will receive a certificate of completion from USGBC-LA. This course qualifies for 2 GBCI CEU credits.
