USC SeaGrant: AdaptLA Meeting

Join this free virtual meeting to learn about a re-envisioned future for flood infrastructure in Southern California that focuses on restoring ecosystem services and benefiting both inland and coastal areas.

The meeting's featured speaker will be Dr. Brett Sanders, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Sanders will present research findings on multi-benefit adaptation strategies, including ecological restoration and updated civil engineering practices, and the advantages they can provide to human safety, wildlife habitats, and recreational areas. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A session.
