Despite all the progress that has been made, Southern California's air is still the most polluted in the nation. Now our state drought compounds our air quality problem. Most people think of the drought in terms of our water supply and demand, but the impacts reach much further.
The South Coast Air Quality Management District cordially invites you to a special Air Quality Institute forum, which will focus on the drought and the impacts to our region's air pollution, its causes, its effect on human health, and the solutions being explored to help all of us breathe easier.
Guest speakers include:
Bill Croyle - Drought Emergency Manager, DWR
Nancy Sutley - Chief Sustainability & Economic Development Officer, LADWP
Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP soon as space is limited.
