LARC 3rd Month Forum: Summer Road Trip: Cool Roofs and Solar Energy
The 3rd Month Forum is a public event series held quarterly to explore climate action efforts in the Los Angeles region.
In recognition of the long hot summer, Promise Energy and the Environmental Defense Fund/LA co-lead a tour and walking discussion to highlight their efforts to mitigate GHG emissions while keeping their residents comfortable.
This third forum toured two affordable housing developments in Los Angeles that showcase cool roofs and solar energy systems. The first location was a retrofit project at Coronado Place by Deep Green Housing. The second was at Knob Hill, a new construction project by Veloce Partners.
