LADWP Adopts LA County Water Plan

In August 2024, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) adopted the LA County Water Plan, joining seven other leading local water agencies in committing to safe, clean, reliable water resources for Los Angeles County.

As the largest municipal utility in the nation, LADWP’s adoption of the plan marks a big step toward the plan’s goals, which include “increasing the region’s water supply by 600,000-acre feet by 2045 through stormwater capture, recycled water, water conservation, and other strategies”. -Water for LA
