Join this first in a series of virtual workshops to learn about SCAG’s Development Streamlining efforts and guidance materials to help SCAG’s member agencies expedite housing approvals. Since the passing of bills SB 35 (2017) for the streamlined approval process of housing projects and SB 330 (2019), also known as the Housing Crisis Act of 2019, other bills have modified these streamlined housing approval practices. This workshop will provide an overview of SB 35 and SB 330 with their updates and discuss good practices for each. Join us to stay up to date on these legislative updates and an online discussion on legislative and judicial positions on housing law.
