2020 is shaping up to be a pivotal year in the world of high performance buildings.  While market leaders have long recognized the value of efficiency, much of the industry has lagged.  With the release of the most recent IPCC report, climate change has emerged as an important political issue, with nine states enacting legislation to move towards 100% clean energy, and dozens of Cities – including LA – passing local legislation aimed at curbing emissions.  Utilities will play a central role in helping buildings meet these new requirements.
