Rethink Methane Conference

  • Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel Sacramento, CA USA (map)

The conference, set for June 9-10, is a workshop in Sacramento, California, targeting lawmakers and their staff in both the California legislature and key state environmental and energy agencies. The goal of the workshop is to introduce these policymakers to the promise and possibility of renewable methane and to demonstrate what the increased production and consumption of this critical energy resource can do for the achievement of important policy objectives. The Rethink Methane Symposium will also present the opportunity to organize a new coalition around renewable methane, one made up of gas, renewable energy, hydrogen, fuel cell, and environmental interests, as promoting the production and use of renewable methane advances all of these agendas. If successful, the intent is to replicate this symposium in key cities throughout the country to spread awareness of the opportunity created by renewable methane.
