Retro-Commissioning Working Group

  • Los Angeles City Hall 201 N Main St Los Angeles, CA, 90012 United States (map)

Los Angeles City Council unanimously adopted a motion, entitled "Improving Energy and Water Efficiency of Existing Buildings," which directs the Department of Building and Safety to convene a stakeholder process to develop a package of policies and programs to improve the energy and water efficiency of Los Angeles' existing buildings. This work with stakeholders aims to create innovative and practical solutions that cut energy and water waste, boost the local economy, reduce harmful pollution, and promote equity across the city.

During the stakeholder meetings, recommendations have been made to have large buildings undergo a retro-commisioning process. We are hosting a working group meeting to get input on what should be included on a potential list of retro-commissioning measures. If you have experience in this area please join us on June 1st at 1pm at LA City Hall.
