Input from the working group meetings will be used to inform the 2016-2040 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP/SCS) and other SCAG projects related to active transportation and public health. The 2016-2040 RTP/SCS is a long-range transportation plan that provides a vision for transportation investments throughout six counties in Southern California – Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura. The plan is scheduled for adoption in April 2016.
